EDfidelity is a sound concept designed to provide in-car surround sound. At the heart of the product is an applicable, digital audio amplifier which, by means of software parametrisation, creates the optimum vehicle- and component-specific sound settings. The use of existing audio components and the optimum sound settings in the car mean that EDfidelity brings a real saving, compared to similar audio systems.

EDfidelity is a high-end, new generation 8-channel amplifier. The combination of class D amplifier technology and 400 MHz high performance digital signal processing provides a considerable technical advantage over standard amplifiers. The digital architecture enables power loss to be reduced, resulting in lower heat generation. There is no longer any call for a complicated casing with cooling ribs. Thanks to this, the dimensions of the product can be kept small, and its design very compact. The standard version of the amplifier uses the existing amplifier system, and, by storing vehicle- and component-specific sound settings, can create an optimum sound experience. At the same time, the diagnostic ability of the loudspeaker within the system remains intact.
